So just what is ‘Island Buzz Enterprises? In short, we’re residents of Vancouver Island who spent a lot of time looking for stuff to do in and around our new home of Vancouver Island. We like to learn about interesting spots we haven’t been to before and check out local events and festivals. We found information difficult to find, spread across all sorts of websites, social media, etc. There never seemed to be a central place to look for events local to us. We had operated a similar site in a different location years ago.

Sometimes necessity becomes the mother of invention. When we moved to Vancouver Island, we wanted to become part of the community. What a better way to learn about the Island and find things to do, then operate a small business that focuses on that same information?

After a couple of false starts, we have launched the site.

We hope you find this site useful. We want to share opportunities to experience all the Island has to offer with fellow residents and visitors to this incredibly special part of the world. We hope you find stuff to do on here that will help build community, check out interesting and fulfilling things to do, and make you as thankful as we are for for this place we call home.
